The Merry Blacksmith and The Banshee. Definitely a bit rough, a friend and I recorded these as a speed reference for other members of the Oxford Fiddle Group before we played these tunes for Irish dancers.

Another fine set of tunes. I first heard the Merry Blacksmith from Kentucky fiddle tune collector Bruce Greene. He had learned a version of it in KY. It had another name- Sleigh Ride or something. It's been a long time. I heard him play it at an old-time gathering in French Lick, IN back in the mid-1970s.
