Had a great time at Banjo Camp-wonderful fiddlers Alan Kaufman and Dave Reiner (from Boston area) were there to play with all the Banjo players and I also got a chance to as well (when I wasn't playing my own banjo!). It is a great time with wonderful musicians and singers. I encourage all you fledgling banjo players to come on out next year. You will learn (and play) ALOT!
Things are moving along for the new CD-still trying to get it out by the end of June when I appear at the Old Songs Festival in Altamont NY with Groovemama (check out www.oldsongs.org). It is a gem of a festival with GREAT music all weekend-lots of jamming, good food and beer and great kids activities.
